VIENNA, VIRGINIA – MicroHealth LLC, a leading Health Information Technology company, announced today that Tim Lamb has been promoted to MicroHealth’s senior executive team. Lamb will report to Claude Hines, Chief Operating Officer.
“We’re thrilled to have Tim join the ranks of our executive leadership,” adds Hines. “Over the years, both at MicroHealth and during his time in the Army, Tim has repeatedly proven his ability to lead teams and projects.”
Lamb joins the ranks of Senior Directors at MicroHealth and will lead the Program Management Operations (PMO) division. In this role, Lamb will oversee the execution of services provided to external customers and clients.
Before joining MicroHealth in 2015, Lamb had a decorated career as an Army Colonel. His roles included Battalion Commander of the 32nd Medical Logistics Battalion, Chief of Logistics at the Womack Army Medical Center, and Deputy Commander for the 30th Medical Brigade in Germany and Iraq. Notably, he spearheaded the successful implementation of an upgraded information system, enhancing medical supply support.
As Deputy Joint Staff Surgeon at the Pentagon, he played a crucial role in enhancing health service support for military operations. Lamb also served as the Commander of Martin Army Community Hospital, significantly expanding healthcare delivery to a large beneficiary population while reducing costs.
His promotion reflects his exceptional leadership and contributions to the organization.
Lamb’s appointment is effective Nov. 1, 2023, following the promotion of his predecessor, Michael Holmes. Holmes joined MicroHealth in 2019 and established the PMO division as we know it today, serving as its first Senior Director. Holmes was recently promoted to Senior Director of Information Technology and will oversee all IT operations for the organization. Holmes too has a proven record of overseeing and implementing large health IT projects, both during his time at MicroHealth and while serving as an officer in the Air Force.
Congratulations to both Lamb and Holmes.
