Vienna, VA – August 6, 2015 MicroHealth, LLC is pleased to announce our appraisal at Maturity Level 3 of the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) in Development after our years of hard work, dedication, and ongoing experience.
SysDevCo, Inc. appraised our processes of Organizational Training, Quality and Process Management, and the Bilateral VA Disability Rating and Compensation Calculator at CMMI-DEV Maturity Level 3.
CMMI was developed by a group of industry and government experts, as well as the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. CMMI models provide guidance for development and improvement processes to meet business goals. A CMMI model may also be used as a framework for appraising the process maturity of the organization.
At Maturity Level 3 in Development of CMMI, processes are well characterized, understood, and described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. Moreover, processes are more detailed using an understanding of the interrelationships of the process activities, products, and services.
“A real badge of honor; thank you everyone for making our goals a reality,” said Frank Tucker, CEO. “There are not many companies our size and as young as we are to have accomplished this so quickly. This is a testament to the wonderful people we have and their commitment.”
“It’s a real honor to join the ranks of those assessed at Maturity Level 3,” said Claude Hines, COO, “but our journey has just begun and we will continue to drive continuous process improvement.”
