Vienna, Virginia – MicroHealth LLC is gearing up for its two-part annual giving season. This year we’re focusing on two essential campaigns to help our local communities in Virginia and Orlando:
Employees will be able to drop off donations at our Virginia and Florida offices or participate via separate Amazon Wish List’s for food and toys. These Wish Lists, introduced last year, have significantly boosted participation and impact.
“Introducing the wish list and QR code had a huge impact on people’s ability to participate, especially for remote and hybrid employees,” adds Heidi Ashbaugh, Marketing & Communications Senior Manager for MicroHealth. “People are usually interested and willing to help. Adding the virtual option has made it that much easier, and we almost doubled the amount of collections.”
Every item purchased goes to local families and organizations in need. Whether it’s a box of cereal or a new toy, every contribution matters.
“We understand that not everyone may be in a position to contribute, and that’s OK,” adds Ashbaugh. “But that is exactly why we are doing this sort of activity. We know that life happens, and sometimes you might just need to lean on others for support. At MicroHealth, we’ve been happy to help support our local community for more than a decade and have no plans to stop anytime soon.”
MicroHealth recognizes the importance of community support. For those interested in giving, the Amazon Wish Lists provide an easy way to contribute, regardless of location. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in someone’s life.
