38 CFR 3.552 Rates (Hospital Reduction) for Special A/A Allowance

The yearly income for 2024 must be or less to continue receiving this benefit.

The rate entitled to (see 38 CFR 3.552 Rate Chart on page VI (1978) ) on December 31, 1978, will be paid if the veteran is hospitalized on or after January 1, 2024, and the veteran's yearly income for 2024 is or less.

Section 306 disability pension spouse income exclusion under 38 CFR 3.262(b)(2) is $6,164.

Section 306 survivor benefit plan annuity limitation is $11,380.

Old law death pension monthly payments
If you're eligible for the protected rate for the old law death pension, you'll be paid the monthly payment amount you were entitled to on December 31, 1978, plus a cost-of-living increase each year. The cost-of-living increase for this year is 2.5%.

The yearly income for 2024 must be or less to continue receiving this benefit.
